The winners of the 2024 Northern Tech Awards were crowned last night at Manchester Cathedral.
The 11th edition of the Awards – run by GP Bullhound – was hosted by presenter Georgie Barrat, with a keynote delivered by Adam Hildreth, CEO and founder of Crisp.
The event brought together 250 CEOs, entrepreneurs and business leaders from across the digital economy, celebrating innovation and excellence in the North of England and Scotland.
The Top 100 Northern Tech Awards league table revealed the fastest-growing and most successful tech companies in the region, while the Northern Stars awards showcased earlier-stage companies considered to have the most potential to be tech successes in the coming years.

The Overall Judges’ Award went to Bumper, the South Yorkshire FinTech which raised £40 million in Series B funding in January.
Bumper – which is headquartered in Sheffield and has offices in London and Ankara, Turkey – counts most of the major automotive brands in the world as clients, including Volvo, Ford, Nissan, VW Group, and many more, in addition to both JLR and Porsche.
Fastest Growing Company of the Year went to xDesign, a digital product development agency based in Edinburgh.
The Northern Star Overall Judges’ Award went to Versori, led by CEO Sean Brown and CTO Daniel Jones.
