Appointments

London-based accountancy and business advisory firm Xeinadin has made two senior appointments to its Lancaster-based tax team.

Victoria Dadswell has joined as tax partner, whilst Clare Fisher has been appointed as senior tax manager.

Dadswell, who qualified as a chartered tax adviser in 2006, brings over 20 years of tax advisory expertise to the role.

Meanwhile, Fisher also boasts over two decades worth of experience in the accountancy profession, specialising in dedicated tax advisory services for the past decade.

Both women spent time at CLB Coopers before 10+ year stints at MHA Moore and Smalley.

“SMEs face a myriad of hurdles and complexities when it comes to tax planning, from evolving inheritance tax rules to succession pressures.” said James Cornthwaite, area managing partner for Lancaster at Xeinadin.

“Our clients require in-depth, practical advice to help them navigate these issues. I’m thrilled to welcome Victoria and Clare to our tax team.

“They bring deep technical knowledge and regional insight that will strengthen our local support for SME clients across Lancashire and beyond.”

Dadswell, who specialises in advising owner-managed businesses and private clients, possesses expertise spanning inheritance tax planning, business restructuring, employee share schemes, succession planning, Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) and business acquisitions and disposals.

“Joining Xeinadin reflects a continued commitment to supporting SMEs with specialist tax planning,” she said.

“I’ve worked arm in arm with SMEs across South Cumbria and Lancashire for many years and I’m looking forward to helping local businesses manage change, adapt and grow through informed and proactive advice.”

New senior tax manager Fisher will be responsible for a range of tax planning services for both individuals and businesses.

Her core areas of expertise include business restructuring, succession planning, business acquisitions and disposals, inheritance tax planning, and capital tax planning.

She added: “Xeinadin’s approach to solving complex challenges for local businesses and its commitment to delivering high quality client success is what drew me to the firm.

“Since joining, I’ve particularly enjoyed the breadth of work, from inheritance tax and succession planning to acquisitions, and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with clients across Lancashire.”

The appointments come after the provider of accountancy services and business advice for small and medium-sized enterprises across the UK and Ireland was named as the 18th largest accountancy firm in the UK in the Accountancy Daily Top 75.

Along with its London headquarters, the company also has corporate offices in Manchester and Dublin, as well as over 100 locations across the UK & Ireland.
