Animation studio Blue Zoo demonstrated its interactive virtual reality film for BusinessCloud video reporter Tristan Hall at the Manchester Animation Festival.
Hoodoo tells the story of a cat called Claw who climbs mountain Hoodoo and awakens a yeti.
The user, wearing a HTC Vive headset, influences the flow of the film through actions such as picking up objects and throwing them.
Tom Box, co-founder and producer at Blue Zoo, says Hoodoo is a “mixture of a game and story” and is the brainchild of a trainee storyboard artist at the multi BAFTA-winning studio.
