Crystal Palace Football Club has announced a partnership with NordVPN which will see it become the club’s Official VPN Partner.
The partnership will see Crystal Palace and NordVPN work together to help supporters better understand the potential risks of using unsecured internet networks and the steps they can take to increase their privacy and safety online.
Through a series of digital activations and partnership initiatives, NordVPN will share practical guidance with Palace supporters on protecting their personal information, securing their devices and encrypting their internet connection, whether at home or while travelling.
NordVPN brings together an advanced virtual private network and next-generation antivirus protection in one app. Its online security tools help protect users against threats including phishing, scams, malware and online trackers, as well as reducing the risk of identity theft and account takeover.
Paul O’Brien, Chief Commercial Officer at Crystal Palace, said: “NordVPN is a globally recognised leader in its field, and we are pleased to welcome them to Crystal Palace. Through this partnership, we hope to provide our supporters with useful and accessible information that helps them better understand online risks and take straightforward steps to protect themselves and their personal information.
“The way supporters engage with the club and with one another is increasingly digital, making online privacy and security more important than ever.”
Bob Brinklow, NordVPN Country Manager for the UK, said: “At NordVPN, we believe that strong partnerships are built around shared values, trust and meaningful connections with communities.
“Crystal Palace’s close relationship with its supporters makes the club an excellent partner for us. Together, we aim to help fans better understand online security through digital activations and partnership initiatives, while supporting the club and its ambitions for success on the pitch.”
