Totalmobile, a high-growth provider of field service management software, has appointed Phil Race as CEO.
Race joins from AdEPT Technology, a managed services and telecommunications provider, where he has been chief executive since 2018.
The transition follows Jim Darragh’s decision to step back from the CEO role and to take up a non-executive director position within the company.
Belfast-based Totalmobile has embarked on a string of acquisitions since private equity firm Bowmark Capital invested more than £100 million into the business in 2020.
Since joining Totalmobile in 2016, Darragh has led the organisation through significant growth and established the company as the UK’s market leader in field service management solutions.
“It’s a pleasure to welcome Phil Race to Totalmobile,” said Darragh. “His experience of taking software organisations and empowering them to operate at scale makes him a fantastic choice to lead the next stage of Totalmobile’s journey.”
Totalmobile has hundreds of customers and hundreds of thousands on mobile-workforce users across the public services, property, facilities management, transport and infrastructure sectors.
Stephen Delaney, partner at Bowmark, commented: “Jim Darragh has been instrumental in shaping Totalmobile into the market leading software organisation it is today.
“We thank him for his significant contribution to the company’s success and are delighted that he will continue to be involved in Totalmobile’s future as deputy chair.
“We look forward to working closely with Phil Race as we embark on the next chapter of Totalmobile’s growth.”
