Time is running out to enter BusinessCloud’s inaugural Founder 250 list.

The list celebrates the UK’s best founder-led or founder-influenced businesses that are truly moving the dial, and the closing date for nominations is April 30.

RSM UK is the headline sponsor for the Founder 250 list and is joined by three other sponsors: fast-growing law firm CG, property specialist OBI and investor Mercia Ventures.

Entries have been pouring in despite the Easter holidays, but there are now only two-and-a-half weeks left for nominations.

To qualify, companies must have a significant UK presence, be cash-generative and have been founded no later than 2024.

While not essential, judges will also favour businesses with a clear purpose, including B Corp status, ESG strategies or a commitment to charity or social impact.

The Founder 250 list is due to be published in June, followed by a series of UK-wide founder roundtables.

BusinessCloud’s executive editor Chris Maguire said: “BusinessCloud is committed to shining a light on founders and our new Naked Founder podcast has already made Apple’s top 50 business podcasts for entrepreneurship.
