Some of the biggest names in technology have been included in a prestigious list of 100 women from across the UK championing the role of females in business.
The FT & HERoes Champions of Women in Business lists were published today and are broken down into three listings: 100 Female Executives; 50 Female Future Leaders; and 50 Male Executives.
The announcement comes as BusinessCloud continues its hunt for 101 Female Entrepreneurs in Tech – deadline for nominations 28th September.
Brenda Trenowden CBE, Head of Financial Institutions at ANZ, was ranked first in this year’s 100 Female Executives category and has been joined in the list by 13 top women in tech.
They include Emer Timmons of Brightstar at number four and Harriet Green, CEO & chairman, IBM Asia Pacific, at number eight.
Joining them in the top 20 women to be recognised is Caroline Frankum, global CEO, of Lightspeed at number 18 and Serpil Timuray, of Vodafone Group at number 20.
