Tech Climbers has announced its expansion in Yorkshire for 2023, after a successful inaugural project in the Leeds City Region in 2022, where 92.5 per cent of entrants were predicting growth.

Tech Climbers is an annual list which showcases the top performing product-led technology businesses in the region and aims to gather data to put Yorkshire on the map as an investable, global tech destination.

First launched in 2019 in Liverpool City Region, the project has welcomed a range of partners including tech investors, local government, inward investment, and academic institutions.

The initiative is backed by BusinessCloud, and has expanded its footprint to key areas in Yorkshire to raise the profile of the region’s digital, creative and tech sector, enabling more thriving tech businesses to receive recognition for their work.

Submissions will open for 2023 following a launch event on the April 12th at Department Leeds, which will bring together a stellar line-up of panel discussions featuring funding and investment experts, as well as tech businesses from across Yorkshire.
