Silicon Valley giant LinkedIn is to sponsor Grimsby Town FC.
The League Two club’s Blundell Park home in Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire, will host a ‘LinkedIn Lounge’ on matchdays.
This will advertise job vacancies in the local area and provide details of how to apply.
The first of these was held on Saturday against Macclesfield Town.
Live job roles were also advertised to fans in the programme, at food vendors and in the toilets.
It is the professional network’s first move into football sponsorship.
