Signal AI Appoints Luca Grulla as CTO

Technology executive brings entrepreneurial leadership and machine learning knowledge to C-Suite

AI firm Signal AI has appointed Luca Grulla to the role of Chief Technology Officer having previously served as vice president of engineering.  

The firm’s platform is designed to help organisations track challenges such as the competitive landscapechanges to regulation, reputation and supply chain 

The Signal AI platform gathers the relevant data and applies its machine learning analysis to help with decisions.  

Bringing a specialised skill set to the role, Grulla holds 20 years of experience creating and leading technology organisations and products, spanning start-up phase companies to enterprises in both B2B and B2C industries.  

Prior to joining Signal AI, Grulla held product and engineering leadership positions at uSwtich.com, where he led technology teams to launch new products into the market, contributing to two successful exits achieved by the business.  

Before uSwitch, he consulted for ThoughtWorks, the global software consultancy, where he led digital transformation and product innovation for the enterprise. 

Grulla holds a degree in Software Engineering from the University of Parma, Italy, where he started his professional career. David Benigson, CEO and Founder Signal AI said of the appointment: “He is a truly talented and visionary technology leader who has been a great partner to me personally over the years, and we very much look forward to this next chapter of growth and evolution of the business with Luca as our CTO.”
