Options Technology has revealed plans to create 200 new jobs in Belfast over the next three years. 

The rapidly growing company, headquartered in the heart of Belfast city centre’s Linen Loft building, is a provider of cloud-enabled managed services to the global financial sector. It boasts all 30 of the top global banks as clients. 

The company’s expertise extends to Microsoft Cloud-based solutions, cybersecurity, and ultra-high-performance trading infrastructure. 

After adding 100 new team members to its Belfast offices in the last 12 months, Options says it ‘remains steadfast’ in its focus on recruiting high-quality graduates and engineering professionals, strengthening its ties with local academic institutions.

To tap into diverse talent pools, Options has widened its recruitment net to include engineering apprentices and talented individuals who have completed their A-Levels. The firm has a rich history of nurturing talent, with over a quarter of the hires in the last 12 months being placement students. 

Options’ training programme is marked by substantial investments in upskilling, learning, and Microsoft certifications. Graduates hired in Belfast can expect an immersive training experience, spending up to three months in each of the company’s global hubs, including London, New York, Chicago, Toronto, Paris, Singapore, Hong Kong and Auckland.

Private equity backing to expand HyperJar globally

Options collaborates with Queen’s University Belfast, Ulster University and Belfast Metropolitan College in its commitment to developing the workforce of tomorrow through placement students and apprenticeships.

In 2019, Options received investment from Boston-based private equity firm Abry Partners. This investment enabled Options to accelerate its growth strategy and develop its technology platform while expanding its global reach in key financial centres.
