Online travel agency On the Beach has revealed it may consider relocating from its head office in Cheadle.
The announcement was made in its full-year trading update on the London Stock Exchange, which revealed that UK revenue growth for the year to 30 September 2017 was up by 17 per cent.
Meanwhile, the company’s adjusted profit before tax performance is also expected to be in line with expectations for the 12-month period.
“To support our continued ability to out innovate the market and to attract and retain top talent we are considering the future location of our head office, together with reviewing our reward mechanisms for top performers,” On The Beach said in a statement.
The company added that further updates will be provided to shareholders in due course.
In the trading update, the group said the integration process of Sunshine.co.uk Limited, which it acquired in May 2017, is now “substantially complete”.
Chief executive Simon Cooper said: “The group has traded well in the year with a particularly strong performance in the second half during the key summer trading period. The integration of Sunshine.co.uk Limited, acquired in May 2017, has progressed in line with our expectations.
“We have continued to increase market share in our international markets and delivered strong revenue growth in the year. As a result of this performance, we are pleased to be launching in our third international market, Denmark, early in 2018.”
