Transport tech firm Radius Payment Solutions has snapped up a North Shields-based mobile and connectivity provider. 

Radius, a provider of B2B transport and communications services including telecoms, fuel cards, electric charge points, vehicle tracking and insurance, has moved to acquire The Frontier Group. 

Founded in 2010 by Andrew Rowley, Frontier aims to support SMEs with agile technology that enables their growth and also operates a specialist division supplying tailored telecommunications – including mobile devices, tablets and connectivity, IOT and remote working solutions – for more than 16,000 users in the care industry.

Radius, headquartered in Crewe, Cheshire, has international offices and has made several acquisitions in the last two years.
