DNA and COVID-19 testing firm Rightangled has appointed a new chief marketing officer, Simon Bungey, to its senior leadership team and board.
Bungey brings with him 15 years of consumer marketing expertise to Rightangled, having worked with the BBC, Sony, Hearst UK and retail and hospitality brands.
Launched in 2017, Rightangled’s DNA swab mail kits offer results for intolerances, wellness and COVID-19.
At the firm Bungey will be tasked with supporting the continued growth of Rightangled in the UK and abroad, and ensuring the successful launch of a suite of screening diagnostic services and products.

The appointment follows a recently closed record breaking Crowdcube campaign that overfunded by 1042%.
“Not only are we bringing our offering to new marketing, but we are also growing our talented team and creating powerful new tools to give our customers instant tailored health, diet and fitness advice,” added Bungey.
The firm said it now has several patented projects planned for launch this year, the and is now looking to incorporate artificial intelligence into its delivery of specialised testing services.
