Remote people monitoring specialist Big Technologies plc has made two key appointments to its team.
The Hertfordshire-based firm has welcomed Mike Johns as CFO designate and Alexander Brennan as chairman.
Johns, who will start his role this month, has been hired after a comprehensive five month search process and is a qualified chartered accountant.
He joins the company after seven years with Aptitude Software Group plc, where he spent the last 20 months as its CFO.
He also has experience working for accountancy giant RSM.
Brennan joins after serving as interim chairman since July 2024.
He has been an independent non-executive director at the business since February 2022.
“We are pleased to welcome Mike to the Group and I look forward to introducing him to the Buddi team and working closely with him over the coming months as I hand over my finance related responsibilities and oversee completion of the audit and publication of the 2024 annual report and accounts,” said current interim CEO and CFO Daren Morris.
The news comes off the back of a busy few months for the listed company.
It currently has a market cap of £221.55m but has seen its share price drop significantly in 2025, having been 137p on 2nd January, it now stands at 75.3p as of 8.30am today.
