One of Lancashire’s most successful businesswomen is the latest speaker confirmed for BusinessCloud’s Lancashire Powerhouse conference on April 19.

Claire Fryer is managing director at Mosaic Care Group, an award-winning organisation based in Preston which provides care services for the elderly.

She is also the founder of Harwell Interior Design, which specialises in the design, procurement and fit out of care homes.

That business is based in Lytham, where  the Lancashire Powerhouse conference will take place.

Fryer joins a stellar line-up of confirmed speakers looking to shine a light on Lancashire’s business credentials.

The event forms one of the main events at the annual St George’s Day Charity Festival, which is organised by entrepreneur David Haythornthwaite, chairman of Tangerine Group.

The event will take place in the marquee on Lytham Green and be chaired by award-winning journalist and editor of BusinessCloud Chris Maguire.

The half-day conference will hear from some of the county’s most successful businesses; look at the post-Brexit opportunities for exporters; highlight the rise of tech companies; examine Lancashire’s appeal to investors and developers; and look at the importance of the City Deal to the region.

In addition to Fryer and Haythornthwaite, the other confirmed speakers are: Kate Willard, head of corporate projects, Stobart Group; Jeremy Lefton, managing director, Roundhouse Properties; Stephen Johnson, founder and director, ROQ; Matthew Hirst, CEO, Utiligroup; Mark Woodward, CEO of leading manufacturer Printed Cup Company; Paul Bailey, MD, Optimum Rx Group; Vibe Tickets MD Luke Massie; and David Jones, MD at VEKA UK.
