Morpheus Lending has today announced a new £110m senior funding line with leading alternative asset manager, Pollen Street Capital.

Manchester-headquartered Morpheus has built a digital-only bridging platform centred around speed and efficiency, for both clients and brokers.

The new funding line will enable further growth and scale to support more property professionals, landlords and SME’s across the UK.

Mawdesley is the former head of strategy and innovation at AO.com and Together and believes technology is the best way to disrupt the world of specialist lending.

Morpheus provides unregulated bridging loans up to £1.5m in England and Wales across residential, semi-commercial and commercial properties.

Deals complete in three days

Its technology and customer-driven approach has seen deals complete in as little as three days, with the number of brokers on their platform now scaling significantly.

Morpheus Lending was co-founded by Mawdesley and Lee Jones, a former senior partner at Sedulo.
