Moneypenny appoints global CTO

Communications platform Moneypenny has appointed a new global chief technology officer.

The firm, which is headquartered in Wrexham and also has a base in the United States, has brought in Pete Hanlon.

Hanlon was previously CTO at Moneysupermarket Group for six years and also served as CTO at Autotrader for a decade.

Moneypenny provides telephone answering, live chat, switchboard and multichannel customer services to more than 225,000 customers and uses AI within its internal systems.

Moneypenny currently handles over 15 million customer communications a year for 13,000 businesses.
