An American technology giant has appointed its next CEO from Experian plc.

Director and COO Craig Boundy, who has spent 13 years in leadership roles at the data and technology firm, has notified the board of his intention to step down.

He will leave on 20th August 2024 to take up the role of CEO at McAfee Corp, a global leader in online protection headquartered in California.

Chair Mike Rogers said “Experian’s success has been shaped in no small way by a highly talented team, of which Craig has been a long-serving and highly-valued member”. 

He added: “We thank Craig for his many contributions, and he leaves with our best wishes.”

Brian Cassin, Experian CEO, added: “After 13 years as an outstanding leader at Experian, Craig has decided to embark on a new chapter in his career journey. 

“Craig has had a defining and lasting positive impact on Experian. We are immensely grateful to Craig for this, and we wish him well on his new path.”
