Cybersecurity distributor Distology has struck a new partnership with US-listed security firm Tenable as it looks to strengthen its exposure management offering.

The agreement will see the Manchester-based firm add Tenable’s exposure management platform to its portfolio, giving UK and EMEA channel partners access to technology designed to assess and prioritise security risks across IT, cloud, identity and operational technology environments.

Tenable is listed on Nasdaq and was named a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Exposure Assessment Platforms.

Distology said the deal forms part of its technology strategy for 2025-26, as customers grapple with an expanding attack surface and increasing pressure to link cyber security decisions more closely to business risk.

Exposure management and continuous threat exposure management (CTEM) have become a growing focus for security teams seeking to move beyond traditional vulnerability scanning.

Tenable’s platform uses AI to provide a consolidated view of an organisation’s attack surface, enabling security teams to identify and prioritise the exposures most likely to result in real-world impact.

The technology spans vulnerability management, cloud security and OT security, areas Distology said were increasingly converging for its partner and customer base.

“Signing a vendor like Tenable is a huge milestone for us as a business,” said Hayley Roberts, CEO of Distology.

“We were first introduced to Tenable a decade ago, and to see this partnership come to life now is a testament to the journey both organisations have been on, and shows that even vendors in accelerated growth mode still need support with channel enablement.

“This partnership reinforces our value-led, consultative approach while strengthening our technology strategy in critical focus areas.

“We are all incredibly excited to begin this collaboration, and kudos to the amazing team at Distology for showcasing their brilliant work.”

Guy March, vice president, channel sales EMEA at Tenable, added: “We are excited to partner with Distology based on their deep expertise in the cybersecurity channel and their clear ambition, culture and people-first approach.

“In addition, we were drawn to Distology’s established reputation for delivering innovative and disruptive solutions to the UKI channel.

“This partnership will allow us to scale our reach into new markets, providing businesses with specialised knowledge and support to successfully deploy and manage the Tenable One Exposure Management platform.

“Our joint objective is clear – to drive incremental growth and deliver exceptional value to our mutual partners and customers.”

Distology operates across the EMEA region as a specialist distributor of cybersecurity products and services, working with both established and emerging vendors.
