Some of the biggest names in Liverpool’s technology sector will be discussing all things investment at an exclusive event next week.
The virtual event – entitled ‘The tech investment outlook for Liverpool City Region in 2021’ – is part of the latest LCR Tech Climbers List.
The list is being run in association with BusinessCloud and will be published online.
As a prelude several key figures of Liverpool’s tech and investment community will be sharing their experiences of investment and market trends on December 3rd.
The event, which will be hosted by BusinessCloud’s executive editor Chris Maguire, will look at the impact of Covid-19 on investor appetite, especially in relation to technology, and the likely consequences of Brexit. It will also touch on the mindset of angel investors and the availability of private equity funding.
A total of 10 speakers have been confirmed including Carl Wong, CEO of LivingLens, which was acquired earlier this year by leading customer experience (CX) tech giant Medallia for $26m.
The other speakers are Daniel Reilly, director of Ruler Analytics; Raina Heverin, co-founder of Supplywell; Matt Latham, co-founder of Tickr ; Clemens Wangerin, managing director of vTime; Bod Buckby, Head of UK Primary Markets – North, London Stock Exchange; Alon Kuperman, executive director of GP Bullhound; Hannah Forbes, founder and consultant at The Funding Crowd; David Walters, Digital Investment Manager, MSIF; and Piers Dryden, partner of Brabners.
The event takes place on Thursday December 3rd between 9.30am-11am.
