A Liverpool-based innovation and collaboration agency, has introduced an AI Activator programme to address local business challenges.
GoodShip is aiming to cultivate a new generation of talent equipped to drive sustainable innovation and its approach centres on ‘activating’ potential within businesses and individuals.
The GoodShip AI Activator programme, developed in collaboration with Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) and their Student Futures programme, is offering an accelerated, hands-on experience for students.
Students are set to gain practical skills in cutting-edge AI tools, human-centred communication and design thinking, in order to prepare them for impactful careers and foster a sense of self-worth and professional pride.
The programme is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry demands.
“Liverpool is a city brimming with potential, but like many regions, it faces the challenge of retaining top talent and building on continuous innovation,” said Gavin Sherratt, founder of GoodShip.
“Our AI Activator programme is a direct response to this. By equipping students with real-world skills in creative problem-solving and purpose-driven AI, we’re not just creating job-ready graduates; we’re building a vibrant ecosystem that keeps brilliant minds in Liverpool, ready to contribute to its economic and social prosperity.
“This initiative is about co-creation, cultivating a collaborative environment where students, businesses, and purpose-led organisations can thrive together.”
