Leeds-based technology firm, Hark, has added five new members of staff to its now 18-strong team.

The new hires include Software Engineers; Abbie Cookson, Elliot Morris, Scott Thornton and Sam Bowen-Hughes, who have a combined 17 years’ industry experience with the likes of Maclaren, IBM, Ebuyer and ASDA Money.

They will be joined by Marc Bowers who will lead on user experience on the Hark Platform. Bowers has over 10 years’ experience working in the design industry, with such companies as Jaguar Land Rover, Shell and Confused.com.

The new Software Engineers will be tasked with developing a new module for the Hark Platform, used by two of the UK’s top four supermarkets to help track and analyse energy management, asset performance monitoring and building automation.

We have a lot of exciting projects and the experience of Abbie, Elliot, Scott, Sam and Marc will enable us to add product structure to our existing team, whilst further developing our market leading platform interface.”
