Two new speakers have been added to BusinessCloud’s ‘Tech Recruitment Timebomb’ event.

Benedetta Arese Lucini was previously a regional manager for Uber in Europe before co-founding start-up Oval Money, which has hired 20 people in the last six months.

She’ll be joined by Rija Javed, chief technology officer of London-based FinTech company MarketInvoice, at the event between 5-7pm on October 10 at etc.venues The Hatton, 51 – 53 Hatton Garden, London.

The new additions bring the number of speakers to 11.

They will be talking about the recruitment challenges in London’s technology sector.

Repeated surveys have found the problem has reached chronic levels and uncertainty over Brexit is only set to make it worse with 13 per cent of posts currently filled by international workers.

The skills shortage has seen salaries spiral with over a third of digital tech businesses reporting that candidates want more money than they can afford to pay.
