Kani Payments, a global data reconciliation and reporting platform, has added two new hires to its senior management team as it plans rapid growth worldwide.

Carol Connolly joins the Newcastle firm as head of finance & HR, while Roger Binks is its new chief commercial officer.

Kani Payments has enjoyed stellar success since its inception in 2018, empowering clients with enhanced and accelerated transaction reconciliation, payment and regulatory scheme reporting, merchant settlement and customer fund safeguarding through its SaaS platform.

It has reconciled more than €24 billion in processed payments volume for startups and scaleups across the FinTech spectrum, including Sodexo, Transact Payments, Osper, IDT, Moorwand and Paysafe.

Connolly’s career has included stints at IT and managed service leader Claremont.

“I see my role as getting the processes in place to ensure that as we grow and spread globally, people still feel that sense of belonging and teamwork, where we’re all working for the greater good,” she said.

“That’s something I’m really excited about translating into my role at Kani Payments.”

Binks is a seasoned professional with former employers including ITG, Intu Properties and IWG.

“Our biggest challenge is in articulating our core proposition to the market. We have a unique product that stands out as a true market leader,” he said.

“We eschew the transactional approach of merely onboarding customers and swiftly moving on; instead, we are committed to preserving our hallmark personalised service as we expand.

“Part of my role will be to ensure we replicate that personalisation on a larger scale, and to illuminate our true capabilities to a wider audience.”
