Technology-led marketing business ITG has appointed Tom Burnet as its new Chair.
The firm has appointed Burnet as chair of the board, with the intention that he provide strategic oversight and to help shape the future direction of the business.
An experienced technology leader, Burnet is currently chairman or a non-executive director of a number of internationally-recognised technology firms, including PCMS, accesso Technology Group PLC, Kainos Group PLC and the Baillie Gifford US Growth Investment Trust PLC.
Founded in 2009, ITG has recently been named one of the fastest-growing companies in Europe by both the FT and Sunday Times.
The Birmingham-based group said Burnet’s experience successfully leading and growing global technology companies will be an asset as the group prepares for the upcoming launch of its tech-stack, Canopy.
Simon Ward, CEO of ITG said 2019 is a year of investment for the firm.
