Digital health services provider Doctor Care Anywhere (DCA) has appointed Ben Kent as its new Chief Operating Officer.

Kent joins the business to support the delivery of its objective to become a leading global player in digital healthcare.

He will focus on developing DCA’s strategic presence and scaling up additional value streams, including for its virtual specialist capability and mental health services.

Doctor Care Anywhere is a doctor-founded digital healthcare company combining wellness and primary and secondary care under one platform.

Patients can access their medical records, virtual consultations, repeat prescription management, personalised health tracking and medication reminders.

Kent brings experience in a range of C-suite roles at both regulated health and insurance businesses, including as CFO at Simplyhealth and Group Director of Finance at Bupa.

He also brings international experience, having previously held roles in Australia and North America, which he will use to support DCA with its international expansion plans.
