Global tech company Cegal has appointed Chris Cartwright as managing director for the UK and Africa.

Cartwright joins the company, which specialises in the energy sector, from Capgemini Invent, where he served as vice president of energy transition. 

Cegal says that Cartwright beat over 330 applicants to the position, standing out due to his sales and relationship-building skills, extensive experience and deep understanding of the energy sector.

“I look forward to working with our clients and partners and seeing the results and impact we can make together. Cegal is a disruptor in the market and has deep industry knowledge,” said Cartwright regarding his appointment.

“I’m excited to build on Cegal’s success in the oil and gas industries in the UK, while exploring new areas in the energy value chain and new opportunities in Africa.”
