In-House Health founder Emma-Louise Fusari has scooped the £150k top prize after winning the 2026 Havas Boost Business competition.

Havas Boost is a competition to support less advantaged business owners across Yorkshire, North West and North East of England.

Now the qualified nurse has been announced as the winner of £150,000 worth of cash and tailored support.

In-House Health helps organisations understand what is actually making their people unhealthy at work.

What are the key steps to growing internationally?

Its proprietary web application collects comprehensive health data and generates confidential individual reports with personalised recommendations, and anonymised workforce analytics that identify systemic health risks.

A spokesman for Havas Boost Business said: “Emma‑Louise impressed our judging panel with a clear, compelling, and clinically led vision for transforming workplace health.

“But beyond the incredible business case, there was a moment that truly captured why Havas Boost Business exists. When we shared the news with Emma-Louise that she’d won, her reaction says everything.

“It’s a reminder of the passion, perseverance, and purpose behind every founder who joined this year’s programme.

“We’re so proud to support Emma‑Louise as she continues to grow In House Health, and we can’t wait to collaborate on the next phase of her journey.”

Fusari said: “The £150k prize is really going to transform the work that I do and the impact I can have with In-House Health. Watch this space for what’s coming next.

“My feeling when I won was relief. To make the shortlist of six and actually win was a validation of everything I’ve been working on.”

She has been registered as a nurse for more than two decades and worked in general practice with responsibility for running chronic disease management clinics and public health screening programmes.

However, she left the health service in 2016, saying she didn’t feel she was ‘making a blind bit of difference’ to the outcomes of patients.

Instead, she founded In-House Health in 2021, which uses a data-first approach to help businesses establish and eliminate the root cause of issues such as work-related stress and employee burnout.

She said: “My bold vision is to help one million employees stay healthy and in work. Everything I’ve done has been bootstrapped and this will help me achieve my goal.”
