Enterprise transformation consultancy FSP has acquired specialist data firm Intuita Consulting as it looks to boost its data and AI offer.

The deal brings together two fast-growing consultancies and creates a combined business expected to generate more than £50 million in annual revenues from day one.

Headcount will rise to more than 450 specialists across the UK, Spain, Croatia and India, spanning data, AI, cyber security and cloud services.

The Reading-based business will now have an expanded footprint to support large corporates and public sector clients.

Intuita, founded in 2011 and headquartered in Newbury, employs around 90 people and focuses on helping organisations extract more value from their data.

Its services range from discovery and data strategy through to engineering, analytics, machine learning and AI applications.

FSP highlighted its track record in modern platform delivery, complex migrations and data quality programmes, as well as its work applying AI to improve decision-making.

Its enlarged data and AI practice will now have roughly 140 specialists, giving the consultancy more capacity to deliver advanced programmes at scale.

Goodwill impairment charge sees ATG swing to $134.2m loss

In its 2024 results, the business reported revenues of £38.5m and EBITDA of £11.5m, up from £31.5m and £9m the year before.

The consultancy said both metrics have more than tripled since FY21 and expects another year of growth for 2025.

Earlier this year, it was named Best-Performing Company in IT Consulting by Megabuyte.

“This is a gamechanger. It elevates us to a unique position in the market in terms of the scale and depth of our AI and data capabilities and marks a critical next step on our growth journey,” said Simon Grosse, CEO of FSP.

“We’ve long admired what Andy (Leach) and the team have built at Intuita. Both businesses lead with deep consultancy expertise, focusing on both advisory services, organisational change as well as the delivery of future proofed technology solutions.

“This acquisition makes strategic sense and positions us to move faster, deliver greater value and be more agile, which is vital in the markets we serve.”

Andy Leach, CEO of Intuita, added: “FSP has progressed from a more focused transformation and cloud business into a broader consultancy with meaningful depth across cyber security, data and AI.

“The capability our team brings strengthens that platform and establishes the combined organisation as the leading force in the market.

“A real differentiator is the alignment in culture and ambition. Both organisations move decisively, prioritise innovation and share a clear belief in the value data and AI can unlock for clients and for our people.

“Bringing the two businesses together creates a rare opportunity to build something genuinely distinctive, and I am confident this next chapter will inspire our teams and set a new benchmark for the industry.”

Leach will move into a senior leadership role within the business following the completion of the deal, which marks a planned exit for Intuita’s founders.
