Shearwater Group plc has appointed a new CFO.

The AIM-listed cybersecurity group said Jonathan Hall, former finance director at restructuring eSports firm Gfinity, will join this week.

Outgoing interim CFO Adam Hurst will remain with the group for a short transition period.

Hall spent over nine years at Gfinity and led the process of its admission to the junior AIM market on the London Stock Exchange. He left the firm last year.

He previously spent six years specialising in organisation and business process design with PA Consulting, a London-based management consultancy firm, before five years as finance director of rugby union club Saracens Ltd and its wider Premier Team Holdings Group.

“On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Adam for his significant contribution over the past 10 months and we wish him well and every success for the future.”
