A travel company specialising in accessible holidays for people with disabilities has raised £6.5m in a Series A funding round to support its next phase of growth.
Limitless Travel has experienced 350% growth in revenues since 2022, with 2024 marking the company’s most successful year of trading since launch in 2015.
The Birmingham-based firm’s mission has always been to make the world of travel accessible to everyone, and it’s this purpose that has driven investor support.
It was founded by its CEO Angus Drummond, who was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy at the age of 22.
The investment round, which was led by transatlantic venture capital firm Beringea, will enable the business to enhance its holiday offering, expand its destination portfolio, invest in technology to drive operational efficiency, reach new customer demographics and build the foundations for the world’s first globally successful travel company for people with disabilities.
“We’re thrilled to announce our £6.5m Series A raise, marking a major milestone in what’s set to be a momentous year for Limitless Travel,” said Drummond.
“This investment is not only a game-changer for our business, but also for disability travel as a whole. It will allow us to further enhance the quality and range of our holidays, expand into new products and destinations, and accelerate our international growth.
“Accessible travel should never be an afterthought, it’s one of the largest and fastest-growing sectors in the industry. Disabled travellers, and their families and companions deserve nothing but the best, and that is what Limitless provides.
“With the support of our investors, we’re now in the strongest position yet to lead the charge and show the world the true power of disability travel.”
Kiu Kim, investment director at Beringea, added: “Angus and the team have built an exceptional business. Not only is Limitless Travel growing rapidly, but it is also having a huge impact on the lives of its customers – opening up new experiences and destinations for people who previously struggled to access these trips of a lifetime.
“Beringea is hugely excited to see where this business heads and the impact that we can drive together.”
