Anya, a pioneering force in AI-driven women’s healthcare, has received investment from Lifted Ventures.
Anya is a digital health application dedicated to supporting women’s health across various life stages, including pregnancy, parenting, fertility and menopause.
The app offers personalised, AI-powered, 24/7 healthcare and companionship via a chatbot, healthcare specialist support, personalised content and virtual communities.
Trusted by the NHS and serving seven million people in the UK already, Anya is expanding to broader women’s health and private sectors next.
The company is guided by an acclaimed leadership team, including chairman Dan Cobley, a former MD at Google UK&I; angel investor Viktoria Tchoudakov, also ex-Google and former head of Growth at Zoe, who is currently COO at EdTech tiney; and Andrea Sinclair, UKBAA Angel Investor of the Year in 2022.
Anya says it is seeking additional investment, with £150k remaining in the round.
“Women’s healthcare has been underserved for far too long, and we’re on a mission to change that,” said Dr Chen Mao Davies, founder and CEO of Anya.
“At Anya, we combine cutting-edge AI with healthcare specialist support to provide women with the support they need to access the health information they need, whenever they need it in a way that suits them.
“With the backing of Lifted Ventures and other strategic partners, we’re excited to accelerate our global expansion and continue making a big difference in women’s lives.”
Helen Oldham, a star of our 2024 Northern Leaders list alongside Lifted Ventures co-founder Jordan Dargue, said it is “passionate about backing game-changing businesses that deliver meaningful impact”.
“Anya’s AI-powered healthcare solution is transforming access to expert-led health support across critical life stages for women,” she continued.
“We are thrilled to be part of their journey as they scale globally and bring their pioneering technology to even more women worldwide.”
