Global purchaser-verified feedback and insights platform Feefo has appointed Steve Powell as its new COO. 

After a decade of dedicated service at the Hampshire-based firm, most recently as CTO, he will step up to the role to drive strategic alignment between product engineering and customer success.

Since 2006, Feefo has supported global businesses and SMEs to collect authentic, customer-led reviews and feedback, helping them translate the voice of the customer into actionable insight that helps promote growth. 

The firm says Powell has previously played a crucial role in providing businesses with actionable insights and cutting-edge solutions.

“I’ve been part of the Feefo team for a decade now. As CTO, I led numerous key tech initiatives and product developments,” said Powell.

“This included steering complex platform migrations, ensuring scalability and reliability as we’ve grown, and driving the adoption of modern development practices. 

“I’m particularly proud of the work we’ve done to enhance our data engineering capabilities, which has directly resulted in more impactful and actionable insights and better performance for our clients.

“Beyond the strategic and technical aspects of my new role, I’d like to emphasise the core values that drive my leadership: Collaboration, authenticity, respect, empathy and a healthy dose of fun.

“My passion for Feefo runs deep – it’s been an incredible journey thus far, offering me fantastic opportunities for progression and the chance to experience diverse cultures through travelling to places like Belarus, Beijing, and even Kenya.”
