Learning and revision EdTech company Get My Grades has revealed their ambitious global expansion plans.

The firm has launched a crowdfunding campaign with the aim to raise £650,000 in 30 days, as it also plans to join the UK’s education exports sector.

Created by former teacher John Nichols and set up with wife Samantha, Get My Grades was developed to give secondary school students revision resources and can share immediate data on student progress to teachers, parents and education ministers.

After experiencing organic growth amongst some global markets, the company is now formalising export plans, as the firm believes their education platform can be offered across the world.

Money raised from the campaign will be used to support the expansion of the company’s core team to help meet the commercial demand from global markets, including two contracts signed with partners in Africa and Middle East.

“Get My Grades’ mission is to transform education around the world through the effective combination of teaching practice and technology,” said Samantha Nichols, founder of Get My Grades.

“We are so thankful for the positive reception Get My Grades has received in the UK and are now ready to expand our team of teachers, researchers and developers to meet the global demand for our platform.

“British education is respected around the world and the UK has a rich heritage of producing innovative education products. We look forward to harnessing the power of our technology to benefit educational institutions globally.”
