AI customer experience platform Rdentify has appointed respected entrepreneur, investor and author Dr. Vikas Shah MBE DL as its new chairman.
The Manchester-based company aims to help businesses in delivering smarter, more personalised customer experiences using AI.
Dr. Shah, who currently serves as a non-executive board member at the UK Government’s Department for Energy Security & Net Zero, brings decades of leadership to the role.
Since 2007, he has interviewed some of the world’s most influential people, many of whom were included in his book Thought Economics.
Dr. Shah is also a mentor on GM Business Growth Hub’s ASCEND Programme and was included in BusinessCloud’s inaugural Northern Leaders list in 2024.
His appointment comes as Rdentify transitions into a full-scale, AI-driven customer engagement platform, expanding its capabilities and reach.
Its platform analyses live conversations in customer support, sales and account management, providing real-time insights, automating backend tasks and dynamically updating user profiles.
Designed originally for regulated industries, the system supports both compliance and engagement, attempting to give companies the tools to go beyond standard chatbot interactions.
“Technology is reshaping how companies interact with their users,” said Dr. Shah. “Rdentify is at the cutting-edge of this transformation, using AI to drive meaningful, responsible and personalised customer experiences.
“I’m delighted to join the team as we expand our impact across the industry.”
Daniel Brookes, CEO and founder of Rdentify, added: “Vikas brings strategic insight and a deep understanding of how technology can deliver social and commercial impact.
“Rdentify is redefining what customer engagement means, using intelligent automation to support both compliance and growth. Vikas’ guidance will be vital for the next step of our journey.”
The business rolled out a major platform update last year, enhancing its ability to help companies better understand customer preferences and how support teams interact with users.
With Dr. Shah in the chairman seat, the firm will now look to scale its offering and lead innovation in AI-powered customer engagement.
