Sheffield-based data science and marketing agency Jaywing has revealed its next CFO.
Christopher Hughes, currently Jaywing’s finance director, will begin the role on September 1st, when interim CFO Ajay Handa ‘completes his assignment’, the company stated.
London-listed Jaywing, which employs 300 people in the UK and Australia, said Hughes is expected to join its board in due course.
Hughes trained with PwC in the UK and worked for the professional services giant in South Africa. He also held senior finance roles with Lowell Financial prior to joining Jaywing in July 2021.
“I would like to thank Ajay for his support over the last six months, and congratulate Chris on his appointment. I look forward to working with Chris in his new role to help us fulfil Jaywing’s potential,” said CEO Andrew Fryatt.
Jaywing works with a number of blue chip clients, including first direct, Castrol, PepsiCo, Mazda, HSBC and Yorkshire Water.
Previous CFO Caroline Ackroyd, a former CFO at HealthTech Push Doctor who has also held senior positions at Sky Betting & Gaming and Coral Interactive, left the position after little more than a year.
