Ripple (XRP) fared the worst among the top cryptocurrency coins as the market lost value in the last 24 hours.
XRP dropped 7% and stands at 81 cents at the time of writing (7am UK). However its seven-day price is up 32% following stellar gains in recent days.
Polkadot (DOT) is at $20.47, 6% higher than its price seven days ago, despite a 6% drop.
Solana (SOL) also lost 6% to sit at $105 and is 1% down in a week, while Terra (LUNA) shed 5% to $53.24 and is 4% up over seven days.
Ethereum (ETH), the world’s second most valuable coin, fell back to $3,071 with a 4% loss. ETH is 10% up on its price a week ago.
Meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) is headed towards 15c following a 4% drop yet is 8% up over seven days
Cardano (ADA) fell 3% to $1.14 and is 7% up over seven days while market leader Bitcoin (BTC) dropped 2% and is around $43,150. BTC is 14% up in a week.
Binance Coin (BNB) and Avalanche (AVAX) each shed 1% to sit at $415 and $88.69 respectively. They are 10% and 27% higher than their prices last Friday morning.
The overall market cap of the more than 17,500 coins is at $1.96 trillion, a 2.3% decrease in the last 24 hours.
