Ripple’s XRP token and Cardano (ADA) were boosted in the last 24 hours despite falls for Bitcoin, Ethereum and the market in general.
XRP was up 4% to close on $1 at the time of writing (7am UK), leaving it 20% up in a week, while ADA rose 5% to $1.35, 4% up on last Thursday.
Polkadot (DOT) was another winner, enjoying a 7% gain to more than $27.50. It is 2% up on its price a week ago.
Terra (LUNA) suffered its first price drop in a week as it shed 8% to sit at $87. However it remains 39% higher than its value a week ago.
Avalanche (AVAX), another coin which has continually grown over recent days, fell 3% to $121. However its seven-day price remains 16% up as it only topped $100 last Friday.
Market leader Bitcoin (BTC) lost the 2% it had gained in the previous 24-hour period to drop below $48,350, which leaves it 1% down over the course of a week.
Ethereum (ETH), the world’s second most valuable coin, dropped 2% to below $3,950 and is 2% down over seven days.
Solana (SOL) is at $180 following a 3% drop, which leaves it more or less where it was a week ago, while Binance Coin (BNB) lost less than 1% to $530 and is 1% down over seven days.
Meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) grew 2% and is above 17.5 cents, which leaves it 3% down on its seven-day price. Its Ethereum-based spinoff SHIBA INU (SHIB) gained 5% and is 4% up in a week.
Polygon (MATIC) is closing on the pair again in the valuation league table. MATIC is at $2.64 following a 5% boost in the last 24 hours which leaves it 24% up in a week.
The overall market cap of the more than 15,900 coins is at $2.27 trillion, down 0.8% in the last 24 hours.
