Solana and Terra were two of the altcoins to reclaim some value over the weekend.

At the time of writing (7am UK), SOL is at $143, up $6 compared with Friday morning, which still leaves it 18% down in a week.

Terra (LUNA) was dropping towards $70 on Friday but ends the weekend at $72.40, up 5% in the last 24 hours but 22% down in a week.

Avalanche (AVAX) moved from below $87 on Friday morning to $89.70 thanks to a 5% rise in the last 24 hours. It is 20% down on last Monday’s price.

Ripple (XRP) climbed back above 75 cents but is 11% down over seven days, while Cardano (ADA) dropped from $1.21 on Friday to $1.17 and is 13% down in a week.

Ethereum (ETH), the world’s second most valuable coin, remained below $3,200, with its seven-day price down 17%.

Binance Coin (BNB) stayed around $443 and is 15% down over seven days, while Polkadot (DOT) also remained relatively static below $25 and is 14% down on last Monday.

 

Market leader Bitcoin (BTC) fell slightly to around $41,650, which leaves it 11% down over seven days.

Meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) and its Ethereum-based spinoff SHIBA INU (SHIB) are 12% and 15% down on last Monday respectively. DOGE remains above 15c however.

The overall market cap of the more than 16,500 coins is at $1.97 trillion, where it was on Friday morning.
