The cryptocurrency market lost more than 6% of its value in the last 24 hours.
Ethereum (ETH), the world’s second most valuable coin, shed 7% as the major coins all suffered.
The smart contract blockchain platform’s token is at $3,725 at the time of writing (7am UK) and 15% down over seven days.
Market leader Bitcoin (BTC) dropped 5% to below $46,700, which leaves it 9% down in a week.
Polkadot (DOT) and Solana (SOL) each dived 9% to $25.79 and $152 respectively. They are 10% and 24% down over seven days.
Cardano (ADA) sank 7% to $1.21, 16% down on last Tuesday, while Avalanche (AVAX) shed 8% to $78, 18% down in a week.
Ripple (XRP) fell 5% to below 78 cents and is 7% down in a week. Binance Coin (BNB) dropped 6% to $522, 11% down over seven days.
Terra (LUNA) is at $55.39 following a 6% fall which leaves it 18% below its value a week ago.
Meme coin Dogecoin is now below 16c. Both DOGE and its Ethereum-based spinoff SHIBA INU (SHIB) were down 5% in the last 24 hours, and down 12% and 13% over seven days respectively.
Revain (REV) suffered the biggest drop among the top 100 coins, 22%. However it is 11% up in a week. The only coin to gain any value was EOS (EOS), which was up 2%.
The overall market cap of the almost 15,600 coins is at $2.11 trillion, compared with $2.24tr on Monday morning.
