Ethereum and Solana each dropped 7% value in the last 24 hours as the cryptocurrency market dipped almost 4%.
Ethereum (ETH), the world’s second most valuable coin, is around $4,075 at the time of writing (7am UK). The smart contract blockchain platform is 10% down in a week.
Solana (SOL) is at $178 and has dipped by almost 25% since last Friday morning.
Terra (LUNA) and Polkadot (DOT) each shed 6% to $71 and $27 respectively.
The LUNA token, which recently cracked the top 10 of the most valuable currencies, is the only one among them to be up over seven days (2%). DOT is at $28.72, leaving it 25% down in a week.
Market leader Bitcoin (BTC) lost 3% to around $48,375, which leaves it 15% down over seven days.
Cardano (ADA) is at $1.30, 5% down, with a price 22% below last Friday. Binance Coin (BNB) lost 4% to $579, 7% down in a week.
Ripple (XRP) fell 1% to 85 cents and is 13% down in a week.
Meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) dropped below 17c with a 4% dip, 19% below its price last Friday.
Its Ethereum-based spinoff SHIBA INU (SHIB) also fell 4% and is 17% down in a week.
Avalanche (AVAX) is below $88 following a 4% loss, 20% lower than a week ago.
IoTeX (IOTX) was the biggest climber among the top 100 coins, up 12% to 13c, while WAX (WAXP) fell the most, 17% to 53c.
The overall market cap of the more than 15,400 coins is at $2.27 trillion, down 3.8% in the last 24 hours.
