Ripple (XRP) shed the most value among the major cryptocurrency coins in the last 24 hours.
XRP, the only major coin to add value over the weekend, dropped 4% from Monday to Tuesday and is below 72 cents at the time of writing (7am UK). That leaves it 7% down over seven days.
Cardano (ADA) fell 3% to below 80c and is 17% down in a week while meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) lost 2% to below 12c, 11% lower than its price last Tuesday morning.
Binance Coin (BNB) was the only top coin to add value in the last 24 hours, reaching $379 thanks to a 2% gain. It remains 6% down in a week.
Avalanche (AVAX) dropped 1% to $71.63, which leaves it 18% down in a week, while a slight fall puts Solana (SOL) below $83, 14% down over the course of seven days.
Market leader Bitcoin (BTC) remains around $38,150 – 12% lower than its price last Tuesday morning – while Ethereum (ETH) dropped 1% to around $2,500 and is 14% down in a week.
Terra (LUNA) – this year’s stellar performer – dipped 1% to $79 and is 10% down over seven days.
Polkadot (DOT) fell 1% to $16.44 and is 12% down in a week.
The overall market cap of the almost 18,000 coins is at $1.71 trillion, a 0.2% decrease in the last 24 hours.
