Ripple (XRP) was the only major cryptocurrency coin to gain value over the weekend as the market slumped again.

XRP added a cent from Friday morning to head towards 75c at the time of writing (7am UK), which leaves it 4% up over seven days.

Avalanche (AVAX) fell from $76.88 to $72.33, which leaves it 1% down in a week.

Solana (SOL) was at $91.71 on Friday but now stands at $83.15, down 4% over the course of seven days.

Market leader Bitcoin (BTC) shed more than $3,000 in three days to around $38,150, yet is 1% higher than its price last Monday morning.

Ethereum (ETH) dropped $200 to around $2,525 and is 3% down in a week.

Cardano (ADA) fell from 87c to 82c and is 6% down over seven days while meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) lost 1c to exactly 12c, 3% lower than its price last Monday morning.

Binance Coin (BNB) fell $20 to $374 yet is 3% up in a week.

Terra (LUNA) – this year’s stellar performer – was at $92 on Friday but is now at $80. It remains 11% up over seven days.

Polkadot (DOT) fell from $17.25 to $16.58 and is down 2% on last Monday morning.

 

The overall market cap of the almost 18,000 coins is at $1.71 trillion, down from $1.83tr on Friday.
