Avalanche (AVAX) and Terra (LUNA) were the big winners as the cryptocurrency market added almost 12% of value in the last 24 hours.
AVAX jumped a huge 19% to $87 and is 25% up over the course of a week, while LUNA – this year’s stellar performer – climbed 22% and is 77% higher than its price seven days ago.
Market leader Bitcoin (BTC) added 14% to close on $43,300 and is 17% up in a week while Ethereum (ETH), the world’s second most valuable coin, topped $2,900 and is 15% up on its price seven days ago.
Cardano (ADA) grew 11% to reach 96 cents, which leaves it 15% up in a week.
Binance Coin (BNB) and Solana (SOL) each added 11%, to $402 and $96.30 respectively, and are 13% and 16% up on last Tuesday morning.
Polkadot (DOT) is at $18.60 after adding 10% and is 16% up in a week.
Ripple (XRP) added 7% to 77c and is 12% up over seven days.
Meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) is now above 13c thanks to a 7% gain, up 4% in a week
The overall market cap of the more than 17,800 coins is at $1.91 trillion, an 11.6% increase in the last 24 hours.
