All the major cryptocurrency coins gained significantly in value over the weekend – with one exception.

As the overall market cap climbed, market leader Bitcoin remained just below $41,000, where it was on Friday. Nevertheless, BTC is 6% up in a week.

Terra (LUNA) climbed from $85.81 on Friday morning to $94.27 at the time of writing on Monday (7am UK). The year’s stellar performer is 4% higher than its price a week ago.

However, LUNA was the only coin to gain value from Sunday to Monday, with most of the other majors shedding 2-3% while it gained 2%.

Avalanche (AVAX) climbed from just below $80 on Friday to $86 on Monday and is a massive 24% higher than its price a week ago.

Solana (SOL) moved from $86.50 on Friday to $88.39, while Cardano (ADA) grew from below 83 cents to 88c. Both are 10% up over the course of seven days.

Ethereum (ETH) climbed from $2,800 towards $2,900 with a seven-day price up 11%.

Polkadot (DOT) moved from $18.59 to $18.78 and is 7% up on its price last Monday morning.

Binance Coin (BNB) added $3 to $391 and is 6% up in a week, while Ripple (XRP) moved from 79c to almost 81c, which leaves it 5% up over seven days.

Meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) topped 12c once more and is 5% up in a week.

The overall market cap of the 18,300 coins is at $1.85 trillion, up from $1.82tr on Friday morning.
