London startup Stitch has raised £2.5 million seed funding to create the definitive patient retention platform for clinical trials.
Stitch says its Trialmap software improves compliance by helping patients to manage their trial journey, while Trialview allows sponsors to measure the experience of each patient on a trial in real-time.
The round was led by Connect Ventures, with participation from Form Ventures, Boost Capital and angel investors.
“Patients are the critical participants in clinical trials, but their experience is one of poor communication, frustration and neglect,” said Sitar Teli, managing partner at Connect Ventures.

“Stitch is building the first truly patient-centric product for clinical trials.
“It enables sponsors to communicate trial protocol clearly and conveniently; and patients to give feedback on their experience in real-time, improving patient retention and success rates.”
Jonathan Moshinsky, co-founder & CEO of Stitch, added: “It’s fantastic to be working with such an exceptional partner, Connect Ventures, who share our vision of a world where each patient on every clinical trial is supported and heard throughout their journey.”
