All-in-one people operations software company Zelt has raised a £5m funding round.

Led by Nauta, with participation from Venrex and Episode 1, the funds from the round will be used to further build out Zelt’s product and create a global leader in its category.

The London-based company was founded in 2020 and offers an all-in-one solution for people managers, bringing HR, Finance and IT into one place.

“2024 was an excellent year for Zelt as we launched our new Growth module, onboarded our first 1,000+ headcount organisation and closed a new round of funding that will enable us to invest even more into building the best product available in the market,” said Chris Priebe, founder and CEO at Zelt.

“We see a $50bn opportunity globally as organisations move away from legacy and point solutions, to a next-generation all-in-one platform.”

Zelt says that organisations can manage their whole workforce across the employee lifecycle in a single system, enabling them to simplify and automate people processes across HR, Finance and IT functions.

It is also looking at using the investment to expand its product set to include more areas of operations and expand to new geographies.

It is said that Zelt’s customers can reduce their related software spend by up to 50% on top of saving time.

Carles Ferrer, general partner at Nauta, added: “Zelt enables a more modern approach to people operations and offers a seamless way to save time and money.

“Many mid-market companies are looking for all-in-one solutions now and we’re excited to watch Zelt go after this opportunity.”
