AIM–listed social video company Brave Bison Group has announced that its CEO Kate Burns has agreed to step down as Chief Executive and as an Executive Director.

Oliver Green, its Executive Chairman, will take over Burns’ responsibilities.

Ex-AOL, Buzzfeed and Google director Burns joined the firm in April last year.

Brave Bison’s clients including P&G, Shell, PUMA and Hyundai.

Green said: “On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Kate for her hard work, personal commitment and dedication to Brave Bison.

“I look forward to working with the rest of the Brave Bison team to grow and develop the business”.

Burns commented: “I would like to thank my colleagues for their commitment, incredible work and loyalty during my time as a Non-Executive Director and CEO at Brave Bison, particularly during the recent challenges presented by COVID-19. I wish the business every success in its next chapter.”

Green has been a Non-Executive Director and Non-Executive Chairman at Brave Bison since December 2019. He is the Managing Director and a significant shareholder of digital marketing agency Tangent Marketing Services and has several years’ experience working in digital marketing and technology across a range of sectors including FMCG, Technology, B2B and Automotive.

Green has also advised on strategy across projects such as digital transformation, conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and customer relationship management (CRM).
