North East green energy firm Swarm has launched its first product – the Hub:One.

Designed and built in Swarm’s on-site lab in Byker, Hub:One is a home energy management system that will enable homeowners to exert control over their renewable energy usage and savings.

The Hub:One serves as the central hub for energy installations, adeptly managing, coordinating and optimising energy generation, storage and usage based on grid pricing. The system is designed to maximise savings for customers, claiming to save the average solar owner up to £40 per month on their energy bills.

It offers comprehensive support for all major inverters, electric vehicle chargers and heat pump brands. An ambitious expansion plan is in place to increase partner integrations over the next six months.

Swarm is already working with national solar panel installers of all sizes to offer the Hub:One alongside their usual services.

Swarm is on a mission to build a community of installers across the country and grow a network of passionate green energy specialists who promote customer-centric renewable devices.

“After months of graft from the team, we’re ecstatic to officially let Hub:One loose into the world,” said CEO Dan Martin.

“There’s a huge gap in the industry for an agnostic HEMS device that can seamlessly fit into any domestic renewable energy setup, but it’s a gap that we’ve just filled.

“As we add more compatible devices and tech partners over the coming months, we can’t wait to see the positive effect this technology is going to have on homeowners’ energy bills, as well as the business growth this will lend to Swarm installers.”
